STRATEGY
Home isn't a place. It's a feeling. We launched Google Home by showing exactly what that feels like.

OVERVIEW
The concept is baked into the name of the product. Google Home is always home, so it’s always to greet you and meet you where you’re at. We wanted to build that behavior through our film - people arriving home across America, each greeted by a different moment, a different need, a different question. Turning on lights, playing music, finding a substitute ingredient, reading to a kid. Set to the whistle melody of Country Roads.

EXECUTION
This launch anthem was Google’s Super Bowl spot. Fun fact: the voice command "Okay Google" in the spot accidentally triggered users' devices across the country. This made a lot of news. Happy accidents.
